I spent a week in June in Ohio a few years ago for work and half the people in my group were from California.

These fools were seriously saying "omg it's like 90% humidity here". Me and the 1 other guy from Louisiana just laughed and said how nice it feels.

One of the days it poured down rain and the California group freaked the frick out. Not even lying we had to calm them down.

I agree. close relative in San Diego. not nearly as advertised. it was better in Louisiana the times I was there. The beach is comparable to GrandIsle and colder than Alaska. frick that.

Been working on California most of the last 4 years and yes, California weather is just as good if not better than you think.

There is nothing but sunshine for months on end and no humidity.

Kinda depends on where you are. You can wake up in San Marcos and it'll be 85 and sunny in the morning. You're thinking "Beach!". Then you get over the hill to the coast and it's cool and foggy. No sun.

I lived in OB for a while. You get that morning fog in summer, but by 11:30 a.m. it is warm and sunny under blue skies.

I loved San Diego. The Chargers never should have left.
