Yes sir. It's NEAT that plummets.

So you think no science or expert opinion was included in the documentary? Ok.

Expert opinion is not science and means dog shite. And if science was included post the studies. Please, you will literally flip the nutrional scientific community on its head. You would be a hero. Please please post it

If half the morons that blame sugar could see what comes through military BCT versus 20 years ago they'd realize how true this statement is. Recruits are so physically (and mentally) weak that it's impossible to get a significant number them to a point that they can reliably pass the three-event APFT in one BCT cycle. The new PT test is going create platoons of holdovers due

True but it's not millennials fault, it's because idiots in charge decided true physical education and testing was mean and hurt peoples feelings.

Pretty much.

Don't understand why it's so hard to say,

Keto guys-
I prefer to eat keto but acknowledge the science but prefer to eat this way

High carb guys-
I prefer to eat high carbs but acknowledge the science but prefer to eat this way

Or

Keto guy
Keto has helped me stay consistent and improved my health, but I understand it's because I have been in a caloric deficit is the reason I have lost body fat.

Carb guy
Flexible dieting has helped me stay consistent and improved my health, but I understand it's because I have been in a caloric deficit is the reason I have lost body fat.

It’s less about hurting feelings and more about cutting school budgets that leave them to decide between keeping core content classes that are “tested” and things like physical education, nutrition/health (probably more important than even PE), and the arts.

I agree real nutrition is more important but it cost zero other as every school already he the facilities for a proper PE program, other than the teacher. And PE is much more important than art, foreign language, library etc

Pretty much every school on America has a place to run sprints, do pushups, lunges, squats, wall sits, handstands and some form of pullups. Most have more than that with monkey bars etc

No offense but women and pussy males being in charge of education is what is killing physical education in school.

It’s still calories in/calories out, you miserable failure of basic science

Your understanding is not even advanced enough to be called bro science; it’s more like how toddlers think. Like eating is some simple process where your body has a certain caloric need for homeostasis, and anything under = lose fat and anything over = gain fat. This is demonstrably false... it’s downright silly.

The following is what happens when you eat an Oreo:

Your body decides whether to burn off immediately, store for immediate use, or store for later use. All of these decisions are person-specific and influenced by genetics, lifestyle, and yes even the very good you just ate.

First, the assumption that both of our bodies “absorb” the same amount of calories is false. Some of us will just pee and poo out more than others, quite frankly.

Second, once you eat, your body really only absorbs the sugars because of your insulin response. No insulin = sugars can’t be absorbed and just flow around your bloodstream. That’s what diabetus is. Your body’s insulin response will be different from mine, and so already you and I are absorbing different amounts of sugar from the same Oreo. Further, both of our insulin responses will be different depending on the time of day, activity levels, and other factors including the food we are used to eating. In other words, your body is making it’s best guess - based off your lifestyle - what the appropriate insulin response should be. That’s why someone who never eats a lot of sweets will feel like shite if they suddenly eat an ice cream cone. Also why someone who drinks a Big Gulp every day will feel like shite if they stop.

And that’s not all, once your body releases the insulin and the sugar is absorbed, your body THEN makes another decision whether to store that excess sugar for later use or immediate use in the form of glycogen. If you run 10 miles a day, your body knows it needs to have a lot more glycogen on hand than for someone like me. Because it knows it will probably need it since there’s a high chance of you running 10 miles. But if you don’t it'll just pee out the glycogen. Will take a while for you to stop running every day for your body to get the picture and start storing the excess sugar for later. And even THEN, some of us will be more predisposed to storing as fat while others more likely muscle. And all of this is assuming your body didn’t just burn off the energy immediately in the form of increased body heat or heart rate.

Let me know if you’d like to learn more about how retarded calories in/calories out is.

Those 'types' have certainly infiltrated academics.

BUT

Without an honest look at who started the educational system, why, and for what agenda you (and everyone) will continue to remain ignorant to what's actually happening.

For the record, lsu777 knows his shite. I’ve taken his advice and lost significant amount of weight. Whether you guys like it or not, it is about calories and protein intake.

Haha no your understanding is flawed and is influenced by social media influencers. I posted a dozen summaries of studies, go read them.

I will ask again, show me one scientific study or meta analysis that shows low carb, keto whatever you want to call it allows the body to lose BODYFAT at a faster rate than an isocaloric diet once calories and protein are equated. I'm talking outside the statistical margin of error.

Please please post that study as you will be a literal hero as you will flip the whole nutrition science industry on their head. The leading doctors in the field of nutrition and performance will have to re-educate themselves. Dr Layne Norton, Dr Israetel, Dr Grant Tinsley, Dr Nadolsky, Dr shallow, Bd Carpentar etc all will be reduced to idiots in one foul swoop. Please post it.

Thanks I appreciate it. And it's not that other things don't matter it's just those two things will make up 90+% of your results until you get down to like 12% bodyfat. That means for 95% of the population those are the things that only really matter. Weekly calories and daily protein, hit it consistently and you will achieve your goals.

And congrats on the weight loss, 205 is a big change for you and you were able to gain strength.

You can't blame woman and soft men for a problem that was initiated by a nefarious few and carried out by large entities with profit motives just because you don't want to go down a truth-hole.
