Nope it’s all in that L2 region. As I lay here it starts to get tight and begins feeling like knotted up.. not like a Charlie horse pain though

Thanks, Walt. I’ll make a mental note of that for future reference

May not be nerve pain then...

Go see a good PT for an evaluation and go from there.

Sciatica. Take ibuprofen for now. Maybe a cortisone shot if it gets worse.
If it persists on and off for many weeks go see specialist and get spine x-Ray and/or MRI.

I was stubborn and ignored it for years before treating it.

Good stuff.

FYI: I've been dealing with sciatica for a few months, and am still going through some issues, but am getting a lot better since my doctor told me s'up. He did a test on me: Lay down on your back, have someone take your leg and move it from 0° to 90°. Do not put any effort into the movement, let someone else do it all. If your back hurts when your leg moves to 90°, then it's a back issue causing the problem (not great). If your back doesn't hurt when it happens, then it's probably a basic bitch sciatic nerve issue (no biggie). If your balls and/or butthole tickle when it happens, then aggressively tell your doctor "NO!" and start yelling "FIRE". I know this from experience.

I got a cushion for my work chair, moved my wallet to my front pockets (takes a lot of getting used to), and have been watching my posture while at work. It's been getting a lot better. But once the issue arose, I've noticed that I've been putting all of my weight on my left arse cheek, and that's almost certainly been the case for years. That's probably the cause of my issues.

It’s definitely Fibromyalgia

It’s common with Middle Aged white women.

Stop sleeping with a little white cube between your legs.

Again, I'm not a doctor (though I've been sexually assaulted by one), but that part of the leg isn't really associated with sciatica. Could be AIDs.

Well, yeah. If you previously had all of those things, you wouldn't get new symptoms.

Except for the cancer and AIDS I guess. But at least we know it's not the gayness.

It’s no big deal. It’s an easy spelling mistake to make

Is it in the upper front/outside of the leg (anteriorlateral)?

Maybe meralgia paresthetica? Do you wear a heavy tool belt or wear tight/skinny jeans?

Probably just trochanteric bursitis but you need to get evaluated by your doctor/orthopedist.

I get sciatica from time to time. I can get pain anywhere from just below my right arse cheek to the bottom of my foot with it. Sucks. I do stretches to stave it off and it has helped me a ton.

Now I'm dealing with a bone spur in my foot that's aggravating my Achilles tendon. Getting old sucks.

You could have sciatica or pseudo sciatica.

Do this to see if you have pseudo. Look up the pigeon stretch and see if that gives any release. Also a lacrosse ball on the piriformis muscle.

Pseudo is basically a muscle in your arse called the piriformis that has inflamed and pushes on the sciatic nerve causing sciatica pain without a disc issue.

google told me I was dying of a bloodclot

I don't think it would stop hurting, and then hurt again, but there are different kinds of blood clots.

I had one that caused compartment syndrome in my left leg. My pain didn't come, and go. The pain kept getting more severe. They had to do an emergency fasciotomy. Do a Goggle search for that! I've got some scars that look like a shark got me.
