I'm convinced the only reason Subway and Arby's stays in business is because of truck stops - rarely ever do I see customers in their standalone stores.

Rainbow iridescence from meat is just structural color, absolutely nothing wrong with it. Any really smoothly cut beef will likely show iridescence. This is the case when you use a commercial rotary slicer.

Do you have to tip your Sandwich Artist on the non-promotional price?

Last time I was at the grocery store I noticed that they sell their chicken teriyaki sauce bottled. It has quite a bit of sugar.

Just checked subway’s website… BOGO on foot longs right now so 2 would be less than $13.98. It’s not like that is a sale.

I mean, that source would be considered “unusual.”

It came back for a week in June, but by the time I saw the ad, it was too late.

One of these is not like the others. JJ is about as mid as they come. I would never choose it over the other two. In fact I probably prefer a Subway sandwich to JJ.

I’d absolutely choose JJ over Subway but it’s the last of those other options. At least the ones here. But the ones here stay busy enough that the bread stays pretty fresh.

Hard disagree. JJ is same level as Jersey Mike's.

Used to routinely go to Subway 15+ years ago, but their food is garbage now and incredibly overpriced. I usually get my subs "plain" anyways, so Jimmy John's having the cheaper slim sandwich pricing makes it even more obvious to go to Jimmy John's instead. I hope to never set foot in another Subway as long as I live.

Sometimes it’s nice to buy one though. I don’t want to have a weeks worth supply of Italian meats and peppers. Sometimes I just want one without any effort.
