One of my buddies lost his car keys, and subsequently left his car in the tigerland parking lot for almost the whole semester.

I swear I've had shite like hand tools seemingly just vanish... I will look everywhere only to eventually find it was sitting right in front of my face the whole time.

During the first 3 months of my kids life, I misplaced everything, all the time. For example, milk in the pantry, car keys in the frig, etc. crap like that happened everyday

At college in the mid '90s, I put my ID in my book bag and when I got to the dorm I couldn't find it. Kept looking, still didn't see it so, I called Student Services to freeze it. Later that day, I was doing some homework on my computer and pulled the diskette out of it. I then noticed my card was in the drive and realized the ID was stuck between the diskette case and the metal cover.

Me, my wife, and daughter tore our living room apart looking for the Dish remote and blaming each other the whole time while looking for it. Turns out my 2 year old son had put it inside a vase that sits on our coffee table. That was literally the only place we didn't look. We would have never found it if I hadn't of reached into the vase to retrieve a bouncy ball that bounced into the vase one day.

In 7th grade I was in the band. In the band room, we had a big cabinet where we all put our book sacks when we entered class. Well, my mom checked me out of school early one day while I was in class. I went to get my book sack and I couldn’t find it. I started freaking out throwing all the other sacks out the cabinet looking for mine. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I then turned on the class and accused several people of stealing it. I just knew it was was one kid in particular and I let him know it and threatened him. That’s when someone told me it was on my back. I bowed my head in shame and left the band room.

Went to the beach with a group in college. We hang out for a while then I realize my keys are missing. We comb the beach like friggin spaceballs looking for them. Decide to backtrack to see if they were dropped ....

Car is still running with the keys in the ignition.

Not my best moment.

The morning after Trump won I couldn't find my keys. I found them on the ground right outside the front door.

My first wedding, my wife was looking for the keys to my vehicle so she could get one of the bridesmaids purse out of it so she could go home after the reception. I thought I had given them to her mom before the wedding since we took the limo from the church to the reception. An hour later after denying I had them several times and arguing with my mother in law that I gave them to her, I felt something scratch my leg in my pants pocket.
