You have a point. Big women are always these experts on dieting, but they themselves never get thin.

I gained 30 lbs a few yrs ago when I changed jobs, lost 42 lbs in 6 mos (fitness pal btw) yet while I was dieting, there was always some big gals at work telling me what I was doing wrong, I've been normal size ever since (+/- 10 lbs)and they're still overweight.

Get some Ezekiel bread, brah.

That's the problem. Most fat women "diet". They don't make lifestyle changes and they don't want to.

The entire cup(which I didn't use) of PB is 250 calories and the bread is like 60.

A spoonful of peanutbutter is 250 calories. But its a spoonful of peanut butter. When youre counting calories, if your wasting 250 of them on a spoonful of something youre not fully utilizing them, IMO. IF its about protein you could crush a half bag of beef jerky for those calories.

Yeah, peanut butter is calorie-dense, but it's good for you. Just don't overdo it.

It's high in protein and monounsaturated fats. Good stuff!

Losing weight and/or eating healthy isn't about eating "low calorie items".

My bad, I forgot that losing weight and calories consumed are unrelated.

Silly me.

And if what the OP is doing works, keep on doing you

PB is something I'll use when gaining weight. Great way to add calories to a shake

Some of the most healthy, filling foods are fatty and high in calories. That's what keeps you full.

It's not about daily calories, its about weekly calories

I have lost 30 pounds in the last 2 months. I don't eat any carbs Monday-Thursday and eat 3 meals a day. Friday, Saturday and Sunday I skip breakfast and then go all out after 12:00. I eat like crazy on the weekends, all kinds of food and junk food, yet I am losing weight. I haven't really been doing any exercising either.

It's all about weekly calorie and carb consumption, not daily.

How do they know that you are dieting?

No offense but if you've lost 40 lbs. in close to three months, then you must have been fricking huge. That's a very unhealthy drop.

I went from 210 to 180 in the last 2 months... I feel fine

Congrats and just keep your head down doing what you are doing.

It's not worth the effort responding to dumb people saying dumb things. If we all did that every time, no one would get any work done.

The best part about dieters is they are fat, yet as soon as they start dieting, they all of a sudden become experts on health/fitness and they think they should start lecturing everyone else (fit people) on it.

If they led a healthy lifestyle they wouldn't need a diet

Because they offer me food every single day and I turn them down. They see what I eat at lunch and ask. My boss's son belongs to the same gym and tells him he sees me there.

Plus all of my work clothes are falling off of me.

One of my favorite snacks is sliced apples with natural peanut butter. I like the kind where the ingredients label just says "peanuts."

Maybe if you hadn't advertised to everyone "Hey, I'm on a diet! Look at me, I'm on a diet!", people would not have known and they wouldn't be making the comments!

In other words, you set yourself up for this.

Stop whining!

He's probably had to deal with one of those crazy office bitches that cries whenever everyone doesn't eat her coffee cake that she brings in twice a week.
