my only question is why did it affect blacks at a disproportionate rate, compared to almost every other racial group (hispanics, caucasians, indians/pakistanis, east asians, africans, etc)?

Most of those groups did not start coming here in large numbers until after the Hart–Celler Act. And don't kid yourself too much, but Caucasians as a whole are starting to feel some of the same effects.

You don’t say?

Study will be deemed racist. How dare they call out an actual root cause.

This has been debunked by the CDC as misinformation.

Don’t need a bank account when you spend your money as soon as you get it anyway

Sort of surprised that it isn’t higher than that

Because other racial groups you listed actually taught things like hard work, self reliance, respect for the law, and did not embrace the victim culture.

When you grow up believing the stupid shite your mother and grandmother is telling you (externalizing the blame) and you’re surrounded by morons who also believe it, then you spend whatever money you get while playing the theme song of The Jeffersons in your head.

And statues. What other group has statues of war heroes of a different skin color that lost a war?

I am from a family with several millionaires. They can pinch a nickel until the buffalo hollars. That is most likely one reason they have money.

Drawn Together had a similar bit about black people spending tens of thousands of dollars to pimp out a Geo which was only worth $10k new.

fricked up part about all of that… it’s a giant sales pitch to go out and buy a worthless online MBA or “external”PHD… accumulate even more debt and be one broke arse doctor when you die

College didn’t teach me dick, just opened doors down the road being in O&G. Theres value in relationships, but I chose to go to a big school that specializes petroleum engineering.

Could have stayed home and got the same degree. Doubled down on the value of the relationships vs “comfort” aka don’t learn shite outside of the place you’re in… breeds ignorance
