Government is only concerned about investors and those in poverty.

Just quit your job and everything is free.

Especially if you can have a couple of children out of wedlock.

With thr restart of payments, did the interest rate change to market rate today instead of the rate it was when you signed up for the loan?

Maybe take some online college courses and get an in school deferment?

Sucks bruh but losing your shite on an internet message board won’t help at all.

I am confused. How do today’s rate impact a loan that was taken years ago?

Do the save plan.

Paying $300 a month for 6 years and since I work for a non profit will have 100k written off

You paid continuously for the three years there was no interest and still didn’t get them paid back. That’s crazy.
Or did you bet on they would forgive them and now you mad?

How is the interest killing you? If you’ve been paying them back for so long you obviously has the opportunity to refinance them to near zero rates a few years back.

For most to feel empathy for you, we'd have to know what your bills include. What type of car, amenities, toys, location are you paying for? How much is your student loan?

Sounds like you needs to get more conservative in your spending habits.

If you were smart you had 3 years of no loans. I hope you saved up

The pause enabled the Fed Gov’t to kick the proverbial can down the road. They were well aware that few would save proportionally or even fractionally; in fact they counted on it.

And thanks to inflation, the water level is now up to many Americans necks.

Kid shouldn’t complain about paying his loans back, but IMO he is absolutely in the right to complain about what has been allowed to happen to our financial system, inflation included.

We are getting hosed big time.

Republican- bitching is fine. Structure your life to take care of your obligations. Work more and harder. Solve the problem and don’t depend on government.

This one thousand times. Shut up and pay the debts you own. Life is not fair. Work harder. Get promoted. Earn more. Get GERD and high blood pressure like the rest of us, but know that YOU beat the BS on your own. Sometimes, that is the only reward.

Would you rather cut expenses or work more ?
