From the comments:

We all know what he was thinking but wouldn't say it

The mosquitoes, the politicians, and Siegen Lane in Baton Rouge

The basketball people

That was a LOUD pause

Highest taxes in the country

More like 27th highest tax burden. That means 26 states have a higher tax burden. Granted I don’t think the money is well spent in Louisiana. It seems like other states have much nicer stuff for what they pay.

My two biggest complaints about LA were weather and crime.

Without checking I can say this is very likely untrue.

Louisiana’s taxes are extremely high for what the government puts back in the state. I’m not interested in paying 10% state income tax, but there’s no argument California provides a lot more services than Louisiana, for example.

So inefficient poorly used

The best thing about Louisiana, and the worst thing about Louisiana, are the same thing and it’s the lassiez faire attitude towards life. It’s why nothing works right and everything’s falling apart and everybody’s poor and in debt, but everybody’s generally pretty happy and relaxed and enjoys life despite this.

Humidity; heat, summers and mosquitoes.

Spring, winter and Fall can be very ice though.

But the summers in between are brutal.

Then add in that we have a Banana Republic Gov’t run by greedy a-holes in both sides.

Highest taxes and for what? We produce more energy per capita than anyone, but we subsidize other states with the O&G royalties thanks to that POS Huey Long.

I can go on and on.

Id say Litter, because it should be the easiest to fix.
