Nothing like you're seeing today and the only thing you saw was Bush 41 having enough sense to leave Saddam and Iraq alone after we got what we came for lest their risk destabilization of an entire region.
Damn shame his son was an utter moron who couldn't understand that.

And don't act like people's sex lives weren't affected by AIDS in the 80s. That for sure blueballed many individuals in high school and college.
My HS years were 84-88. We knew about AIDS but gave it little thought since at that time it was viewed as only being a "gay" disease. Unless you were sucking dick and getting banged by dudes in the 80s, AIDS was not on your radar.

Not sure about that. I've always felt that the 1950's would have been an incredible time to be a teenager.

100% agree!
Peoples hair was funny and they wore strange clothes, it's as if they were waiting for a spaceship to take them away. People just looked confused?

1990's was a great decade to grow up in.
Movies, Music, Internet, Drugs, Sex, Style
We completely left the 70's & 80's in the dust

Its funny people mention movies, but film critics generally agree that the 80s was one of the worst decades for film, ever.
It followed the 70s which is full of all time classic, substantive films...the 80s was seen as birthing the blockbuster and mindless entertainment, and the death of cerebral filmaking.
