Just seems like a lot was right in America for multiple facets.

I was born in the 80s, and I love the ladies.

The music was good. The movies were great. The cars were crap.

Being born in the 80's =/= experiencing the 80's.

I think most people think whatever decade they grew up in was the best one. It was certainly a good decade for movies.

I will say things were good with Reagan kicking arse and MTV/pretty good music (although I like the '70's better now). But, I do agree with one comedian's take that it sucked because you were in a window that came after the free love and drugs of the '70's, but before the X and rainbow parties later on -- the chicks were all wearing baggy clothes and everyone was freaked about AIDS.

I don't know that we'll ever have another decade with a better trifecta of movies, music, and fashion.

I was born in '86 so obviously grew up in the 90's. 80's seem better.

being that I grew up in the 80's I suppose I'm biased. But I've got to say the 80's were awesome.

Well, 1 out of 3 isn't bad. The movies were good.

Truth. I was born in 76 and I still can't say that I really "experienced" the 80s.

Ah, so you have absolutely no experiences from the 80s to draw from.

Music and fashion of the 80's was awesome.

90's were awful by comparison.
