Oh I know they have to bust their asses and I'm appreciative. I was just wondering if something major happened like on the southshore where a main tower fell in or near the Miss River.

The way we took 2 hurricanes last year I wouldn’t wish that upon my worst enemy. Praying for a quick end to hurricane season.

Can’t decide who is the most difficult person to listen to speak, Joe Biden or Mike Cooper.

They can't get fuel to Ascension parish, and can't get answers from the state and distribution as to why.
Said they have about 48 hours worth to run the 911 center and will "go to Texas if we have to go get more, but we shouldn't have to"

JBE

Yes, they are in Route.
They will be serving lunch and dinner at Fellowship Church on Hwy 73 in Prairieville starting tomorrow.

With 3 big refineries knocked off line will result in supply chain issues. Ascension Parish Sheriff seemed pretty pissed at the State currently

My wife has learned to ask me what rds and Duke say when it comes to hurricane threats. Her eyes have been opened

My wife used to not take me seriously when I'd tell her what's going on based upon what I read here, but over the last couple seasons she's come around. Some of my friends look for updates, too.

No fear mongering, no blind loyalty, just a proven track record. NHC updates with additional "look for this" kinda info that usually comes from Duke or rds. It's sorely lacking in today's world.

I guess that guys “prediction” is what one of the meteorologists in LC said he saw floating around Facebook and to not take it seriously at all.

The contempt in his post is evident

Is this the same guy that said there was no way Ida would come to be because the ridge of high pressure would shut things down in the gulf? Eric Webb or something like that.

Wasn't him.

Would be weird because he's pretty damn good at the tropics.

How bad where the power lines on the road. Trying to get back in tomorrow, but we know we have power lines down throughout the neighborhood. Part of me has it ingrained in me, never drive over down lines. The other part is, well the area has no power so I should be good.

I’m referencing that tropical down south site prom was talking about.

I assumed that’s the site Wade Hampton of KPLC was talking about on his Facebook page, saying not to pay attention to way out projections that a site like that post to fearmonger
