I hear ya, but there's nothing stopping you from stocking up on food and water ahead of time.

I know it’s a long shot, but does anyone have any information on Sorrento? Evacuated and haven’t been able to contact anyone local.

Saw this on Twitter. It's not a verified account, but I didn't see anything that was for MSY. quote: Update: MSY is currently conducting a thorough damage assessment. We expect all flights to be cancelled today, but recommend that passengers check directly with their airlines for the most accurate flight info. More details to be provided when they become available. That was one hour ago...

Thanks Rummy. I fly out to West Coast on Friday for game. My gut tells me that I'll need to make alternate arrangements. Of course, so many more urgent needs other than my flight plans.

Hwy 98 out of Mobile to Natchez MS then Hwy 28 to I49 would be a safe route to get home and it only adds 150 miles to the trip.

Make sure your windshield wipers don’t suck if you decide to go.

Currently no rain or wind in Biloxi. Interstate is clear. Highway 90 still has some water in parts.
