When the sun comes up and we see the damages,‘I have a hard time thinking it’s not retired.

How fast do you think the wind has been around there?

I’m not certain, but I’ve heard gusts up to 75 mph. It’s been pretty constant wind for the past 3 1/2 hours without any let up. I’ve had 3 or 4 trees fall around me, so I know there are lots of trees that have fallen all over.

This is the place to be for these types events. I’ve kept WWL on in the background but centered all my radars/live streams/Twitter around this thread.

Any estimates of Nola getting power back?

According to the Entergy map, The French Quarter is damn the only area with power. That's nuts.

Covid transmits most intensely with winds exactly at 10 mph; hence, the curfew. Duh.
