Anticipated about 5 hrs of no electricity before being able to turn this on. 9.5hrs and I’m reaching my limit.
imo you should wait and check it all out tomorrow during the day before you run anything.. at night it is coolest anyways.. power will likely be out for a long time imo.. there are poles downs everywhere from the reports I have read.
Too dangerous to turn on tonight.. JMO
DO NOT RUN IT IN YOUR GARAGE OR HOUSE
(the carbon monoxide will kill you)

Louisiana keeps getting fricked without getting a reach around. Mother Nature is selfish as hell.

It's trivia, dude. People are losing everything and dying.

You better sit tight and run that bitch tomorrow when the night is gone and all the coolness from the wind and rain is gone and it’s humid as shite

Just talked to my bud in montz. Lots of roof shingles missing and some leaks but they holding steady. Says most streets arent flooded
My son said lots of shingles in the yard and Sheetrock buckling on one exterior wall. Front doors trying to blow open and a little flooding, but not much. Just coming under the doors

New Orleans Entergy has a $2+ million a year sponsorship with the New Orleans Saints.
They blow money on shite like this because their “profit” is capped by the PSC (which our PSC, Eric Skrmetta might actually be the most corrupt politician we have). What they should be doing is lowering their fricking prices instead

State of LA is about to have to start a homeowners' insurance company. what could go wrong?
They already have one in workers comp that is supposed to be the insurer of last resort that competes with private business. What could go wrong with one more?

My anxiety is through the damn roof. Have to keep calm for my kids. Don’t want them to freak out but I’m freaking a little.

Exactly. Looking at being without power at least 48 hours starting tomorrow but could be without it for 4-5 days. Better hang tight. I know it’s a bitch but you’d better save it for when you need it…during the day

This storm is a good example of west side vs east side impacts. Massive rain shield to the east and the wind field on the east side in much stronger.
