Not sure if this is helpful but we put bungees around the door handles during Rita and Katrina. Seemed to help take some of the pressure off too. Good luck, man!

Word I'm getting is that the roof of the old metarie tower across from St. Francis on Metairie Road has partially blown off.

The house is raised about 4 feet off the ground. But it’s a very old house.

Mississippi River at Carrolton Gauge is starting to drop.
It was a bit above four feet two days ago, got up to eleven-ish feet and is dropping.

I’m a fricking bitch. It’s just windy and slightly rainy where I am in BR. Idk how anyone could have stayed for anything worse than this. This is terrible. Praying for everyone who has it 273928 times worse than people inBR.
