I have family (who thankfully evacuated) from Lockport. I can't believe the eye is going over there

Predicted how?

Past history of the storms I’ve been through, and the fact that the track from the beginning had a massive right hook after it hit land, the question was when it made the hook.

They had to cut away. I can only assume the wind machine broke or Lootie showed up and stroke the dumpster.

A few of us called this from the beginning and have been yelled at and downvoted to hell and told we don’t know what we’re talking about. It was always going east of BR.

Because you don’t know what you’re talking about. When it wasn’t strengthening like you wanted it to you said it was going to be a “nothingburger”. Not even 4 hours later it was a cat 4. You’re fricking guessing. You know nothing.

Actually your exact quote last night was

Looks like more fear porn that didn’t materialize at this point.
And you somehow look even more ignorant now than you usually do.

I'm hearing parts of Ponchatoula have lost power as well. I have friends here in Springfield without power too, but I still have mine for right now.

Houma just can't catch a damn break. As soon as it looked like the eye would go over them, it starts to pull away and puts them back in the eyewall.

New Orleans Federal levees are fine on the East bank, this isn’t even a real test for them.

Bigger surge is on the West Bank for this event.

I'm guessing that he's intentionally not holding the microphone closer to his mouth, so we can hear him, because he's trying to feature the sound of the wind and rain for max drama? I thought holding the microphone by your mouth so people can hear was day 1 stuff for a journalist/reporter.

As I was saying...he was holding it 6 inches away again on that segment and we couldn't hear shite.

I’m about a mile from you on Old Covington and our cameras still have power. And we lose power a lot. This is quite shocking.
