Not good too say the least.
How much stronger is this going to get? Every hour is another 5mph jump.
I think someone said she was dropping 3 mb per hour.. with 5-6 hours left, that puts her below 920 potentially.. not good

We live in St James P. Decided we were getting out about 2:30 yesterday. Didn’t know when or where we were going to find a room. Found a place in Marshall TX and pulled in around 10:30. Couldn’t sleep for shite. I don’t give a shite about my house right now, I don’t expect it will be destroyed. Just can’t stop thinking about family, friends, and neighbors riding it out.

That makes sense. In BR and have generator and food/water, but with the roads being relatively clear was just thinking of taking the family west

Buoy 42040 has waves at 24.9 feet, 60-70 miles from the storm.

Deciding to leave now, west side of Mandeville, not too late right? Thinking of going to Jackson. Got two 2 year olds, dog, and a cat.

Me and my wife and our dog left around 3:30am and headed west to Houston. Zero traffic in BR/Bridge/Basin/laffy .. we are almost to lake Charles now (5 mins away)
You still have time if you need to get out!
Stay safe everyone!
