Ida exploded overnight just like everyone predicted. Man, this is horrible for anyone in the path.

Can someone post updates from the flight that is in Ida now? Have they made it to the eastern eye wall?

Let’s see the charts. Any new colors?

New Orleans is about to get slapped by an outer band and the winds are going to be pretty gusty with how fast it’s moving.

But if anyone wants to leave you’ll have time after this band moves out. They’ll be a few hours between this band moving out and the body of the storm moving in.

Part of the problem here in New Orleans is that there is a segment of the population that is so dependent upon government that they cannot evacuate without major help. And the government here has zero ability to organize such an operation. Therefore the advice is to hunker down is possibly the safest option.

But they couldn't bother to text anyone with the emergency alert system on their phones to tell them. However, if an estranged father took his teenage child across state lines - we would have received three texts between 3AM and 5AM with the license plate number and color of the vehicle.

I think we are about to see an eye wall replacement. If that happens it’s going to grow in size.

The track made pretty significant move west, at least around BTR. West of Denham Springs now.

IR looks more like it’s about to finally clear the eye out and bottom out. It’s got 6 hours. It’s probably going to make landfall at max intensity.

weather said the plane just went through 146 mph winds.

Also the buoy had 98 mph at water level

She Said it’s still intensifying so if that continues just a little bit then it will be a cat 5

Winds Only need to increase 10 mph to make ida a cat 5

Most annoying shite ever.

I'm amazed they haven't banged something out as this thing has spiraled up quickly, overnight, while people are sleeping.

Saying that, stay safe TD baws.
