The Flood Protection Authority is closing flood gates in the federal levee system to prevent storm surge ahead of #Ida
This includes the Lake Borgne Surge Barrier, which can be seen from space & is the largest design-build civil works project in the history of the Army Corps

Tropical Storm Henri got 1,000,000 X's the media coverage prior to landfall last week because of it being precious New York. Weather channel had 24 hour coverage going into landfall of Henri.
CNN, Fox News, Weather Channel, and other major media outlets have a responsibility to their audience. frick them all for having zero live coverage right now.
