Buras is likely already getting some strong storms.
Look at how strong the eye wall already looks on radar despite being far away from the radar site. That is not a good sign.

Also, shame on sites like USAToday.com .
This should be the major headline in American news to the audience they service. The storm is just a note on the sidebar.
Just a lack of urgency by so many and we should call it out.
It is very strange that the mayor of NOLA knew many, many hours ago this would landfall at Cat4 and she didn't even do a thing but order a new federal levee to press a magic button like all is well.
Thanks for encouraging others to GTFO and offering help. Special place in heaven for you.

Its Reed Timmer, we're lucky he didnt decide to just rent an airboat and chase out of that.

I think a little west of grand isle.
I was really hoping the shallow water off the coast would help weaken this thing. Hopefully she starts taking some shots soon.

Looks that way.. within 5-10 miles either way based on wobbles..

is clear from Jacksonville, FL, to Lake Charles. Then it is fooked until aboot 10 miles into Tejas. then it is smooth again, until a little spot in the middle of Los Angeles.
Take the Kinder exit and ride Hwy 12 all the way to Vidor.

I would pay $20.00 USD to watch that.
