The chart Duke showed looked like it was moving exactly NW over the run. Not much of a west jog evident

I swear, crype myrtle should be the chosen wood of an MLB bat.

It would probably start sprouting limbs in the dugout

Yes, it’s correcting itself back to the original forecast track. (Says this hoping, and not really knowing)

It’s crazy to see people of the OT listening to the experts, scientists, and news when determining what to do during an emergency. After the past 18 months I was worried people may think the storm was hoax. I’m relieved to see that everyone is following the science. Please listen to your local officials and meteorologists. I really hope everyone stays safe out there!!

Go suck a dick

The good news is the latest track has storm moving slightly more west and NO further east than say Ascension Parish and LivingstonParish, which are going to be on close to the eye.

What exactly are you smoking or watching?

Fourchon is under a mandatory evacuation. Is he still there?

I really hope not. He hasn't responded in a while, so I'm hoping he got to go home earlier.

He works for Chouest btw

For those with YoutubeTV, what channel are you watching for live coverage tomorrow? No weather channel for some reason.

Common theme here:
- “Man, latest update has it a good bit more East”.
- “Actually it’s more West”

Starting to see rumors this is the next update:

“New consensus model tonight, another east shift. It now goes right over Grand Isle, up Hwy 1 then into the River Parishes.”

Looking at the pic he posted, I see the exact opposite.

I know many factors are involved, but what is an approx. wind speed (mph) at which roofing shingles start flying around?

70+ gusts will take poorly installed or damaged/weak ones.
