Don't bet on that.
Bunch of wishcasting in here. If it gets an east shift, it will put the EBR/Ascension line on the east eyewall at most.
IMO, of course. I'd love to see the west wall here instead of what's forcast

I'm having a difficult time following this. Is the expected shift to the east a good or bad thing for Ascension Parish?

If anyone wants to get out but doesn't want to sit in traffic take 61 north once you get to Baton Rouge then take 425 north out of Natchez to I-20 then head west towards Shreveport. My source in the field says it's clear.

This would be worse than Katrina if you are comparing. Katrina’s eye hit east of Nola.

It could be a worse storm and still not be worse than Katrina because the levees probably won’t disintegrate

For a reference point of how far the center is from SE Louisiana, it is due south of Gulf Shores / Orange Beach right now.

I know this is probably a dumb question but I don’t care. If this storm passes northwest over Nola, is there enough warm water in the lake to keep the storm a hurricane or is that body of water to small to effect anything?

You ever seen the size of a hurricane baw?

What? I don’t think people understand what made Katrina bad for New Orleans.
