What's the job market looking like now? I haven't followed much over the past couple months.

If a few miles didn't matter so much at this point, nobody would be worried about this level of variance.
Define a few miles.
Less than 10 - cool.
Any more than that, and that could mean a pretty big change in the impact imho.
A small wobble - meh.
A shift East...

all things considered that doesn’t seem too bad? Or is that not the way to think about it?

Only watching the trends can differentiate between these two.
Ida is tracking to the Eastern edge of model guidance at this time is what we know.

Just did some research on the gas stove models that can be manually lit during power outage (without workaround).
Here’s what I found.

Yep, that's what I've got. Pain in the arse. Not going to fool with a workaround this close to the storm, but that seems like a silly safety feature to have and not be able to turn off.

Competitive, but I'm hoping my desire to live in some less popular locations will help. New slug of openings ought to be hitting start of Sep or Oct though if the typical pattern holds.

Looks like the last day for last island
Started reading about the last island last year with all the hurricanes that came through. That place fascinates me. A party resort island for all the rich baws and bawettes in the 1800s with casinos? Bet it was a rager.

20-30 is a few at this point.
Yeah, I know, not really what you wanted to hear.

I got 6 friends in Morgan City that won't leave ... 3 couples. "we've always stayed".

So if they have always stayed then why are you worried? Do you think this storm is going to be the worst one in the last 40 years?
