I have work tomorrow in michoud to pick up our office and everything we can. They’re preparing for a good bit of surge out this way.

I’m staying in OM, but I think it’s going to be a wild ride.

Imagine having no wall on the back of your garage and it just being open air.

Carport with a garage door two sides, garage door and no rear wall.

I'm sending my wife north tomorrow just to be safe. I'll follow sunday if I have to after I make my rounds very early

Well if it looks like 165 mph gusts are on the table and we're still dead in center tomorrow I'm going to be bitching and screaming at the traffic on Hwy 90 with everyone else.

Because hurricanes never hit there.

As rather than getting this shite nearly as often and frequent flooding from random summer storms. Thinking more western/inland

Exactly. This thing looks like it's about to become a MONSTER. This is going to look like 10,000 bombs went off wherever it hits.

LC isn't even on the coast. We're about 40 miles inland. It looks like Superman just fought Doomsday and General Zod.

But you can see on that model Nola is only gusting in the 60s. If it makes landfall around Morgan City it won't be bad in New Orleans. It would be like Lafayette for Laura. Windy but nothing you've never seen before.

Yeah New Orleans should obviously be paying attention, and evacuating is reasonable, but it's not in line for major impacts at this point.

Yep. I live 30 miles west of LC and 15 miles north of I-10. My neighbor stayed for Laura and he said never again. The most scared he’s ever been.

For Delta it took us like 10 hours to get to the La/TX border. I think that's usually a 30-minute drive

Houma and Thibodaux about to experience what Lake Charles went through last year. Prayers up to everyone there.

My fiance and myself are from Lafayette and we have a couple from Houma staying for the storm with us. Hope it isn't too bad over here.
