Well shite. I was not planning to leave Abbeville.

I'm not saying that Lafayette people should leave, just that they would be justified to do so if they wanted to.

once this thing gets into the gulf you're going to see some serious shite

I remember waking up on Sunday morning and Katrina exploded to 175 mph overnight. That was the craziest shite I'd ever seen and hopefully we don't see a repeat. Katrina entered the Gulf as a 75 mph hurricane too before hitting the loop current.

My husband will have to drag me kicking and screaming. No trees to hit the house is why I’m thinking it’s all good. Well mostly good.

I'm in LC and still on edge. I'd be out of Nola today

I want everyone to note how edgy the Lake Charles people are after they got this kind of strike last year. I havent known Slow to be overdramatic.

So consider that if youre on the fence about leaving.

Wtf is a California garage? When I google it, I just see pictures of normal looking garages in California.

No. Anybody from Nola to Lafayette would be justified in a decision to leave at this point, if they want to.

Tidbits resolution doesn't get granular enough on the Euro for some reason.

But you can see on that model Nola is only gusting in the 60s. If it makes landfall around Morgan City it won't be bad in New Orleans. It would be like Lafayette for Laura. Windy but nothing you've never seen before.
