Yeah, why.

The hospital has way more resources and drugs. The drugs being a big one.

The chances of that are extremely high afterwards. Trying to prep a birth and Hurricane at once is absolutely gut wrenching. I’m going to need at least a round at some point.

Winds curve into the low at the surface baw. Around there they'll be more out of the east. But keep the door closed. You don't want wind getting inside a structure and that far inland it probably won't be bad enough to blast a garage door.

Is New Iberia going to fare better than NOLA? My girlfriend is trying to get us to go there to ride out the storm. Her parents have a generator and good supplies. We have that here as well.

The Euro is running and it's already wayyyy too weak. At 1PM it puts Ida with 998mb, even though it's already down to 987mb.

I'd imagine that means it will be slightly west of where it would otherwise go with the stronger storm, but perhaps Duke can chime in.

What’s the ruling if you have a carport with a garage door on one side (west facing) and open on the other side (east facing)?

I'd stay in New Orleans over New Iberia for this storm, as of now.

The only good thing about a Louisiana hurricane is that it brings out all the best TD comedians. This thread has all the lolz.

I love how people have no problem swimming in a lake or river but God forbid a pool have a touch of algae in it
My wife will swim in the ocean, but won't swim in our pool if we have a few leaves at the bottom of it. I try to bring logic into the discussion and she won't have it

Your carport is fricked because youre letting the wind in with an open side.
