If we’re throwing money down, I bet this thing hooks hard East and misses BR.

Again, agree when we’re a week or so out. But this close? For the path to shift 130+ miles west? I guess possible. But I’d say highly doubtful.

Do you think this thing is gonna hit in Lake Charles?

So exactly your gut feeling. Gotcha.

I see what you're angling at, sir, and it is unsightly.

The game is not played like that. The game is better than that.

At least Latoya will get some FEMA money to throw at *checking list* murders and corruption

We own a second home and property on 93 that backs up to the open space park. We don't get out there as often as we would like though.

If I didn’t have a baby in the NICU in NOLA I wouldn’t be nearly as concerned, but I’m terrified of the power going out at the hospital. Gives me Katrina flashbacks.

It will definitely be a direct hit……somewhere, where are you talking about?

That Katrina situation will never happen again in a hospital. And in any event where evacuation is necessary, your baby would be the first one out.

The experts are almost always wrong on the initial track. And the trend generally tends to be a shift to the west. The general sentiment around my home is that if they first say it’s coming here, we’re probably in good shape because they are almost always wrong on the initial path.

Literally everything in this paragraph is wrong

Less than 3 days from landfall the NHC doesn’t miss much
Historically the track usually shifts east because the models overestimate the ridge

Don’t know where you live but if it’s from Morgan city to plaquemines you best get ready

We’ve been there for 3 months already and believe me, being transferred is not as easy as it sounds for a critical baby. That’s just as terrifying.
