I try to fly out of LC as much as possible but this isn't a question for me.

I was in BR for Katrina, but the airport is in JP, not Orleans. I figured if Houston Intercontinental had planes going up when half of Houston was still underwater, Kenner could have the airport up without flooding issues being present

yea i knew you were still in BR for Katrina cause that was our 4th year(notice i didnt say senior year )

and houston is a tad better at things than NOLA or JP.

But the above goes for all air cooled generators. They are all about the same.

Liquid cooled is the way to go.
Does anyone in here have an opinion on what is the GOAT liquid-cooled whole-home generator?

I've got a 45kw Generac liquid cooled, I have a feeling we're about to see what its made of...check back in a couple weeks

I always thought you’d make a killing starting a weather or news channel that was R rated and reported stuff in this manner

Zeta was moving very fast... this one won't be moving anywhere near as fast... meaning much more time for the storm to do damage in 1 particular spot

I've been saying for awhile and especially if a Laura type storm comes close to or through BR it will be catastrophic. The infrastructure is already terrible. Power gets lost on a pretty day. Flooding will be a mess.

I guess the levees could overtop but constant water streaming in from the lake won’t happen. Or at least shouldn’t happen.

Depends on if Biden blows the levees like Bush did

I don't wish for these things. I enjoy tracking them, but I never wish for them. I was just sharing the info. The good news is, that's a long ways out and will likely change.
