General Reply: Someone asked about live streams in Nassau. The ones I have found are obviously offline now.
Here is a good live stream of Miami beach that is showing the weather increasing.

Skirting along the coast like that seems like it would be a worst case scenario. True? My thinking is that instead of coming ashore in one spot, going inland and then weakening, it's going to produce storm surges all up and down the coast from S. Fla. to SC while maintaining nearly full strength.

The water temp should drop the further north it goes providing less fuel for the fire at least for the loop.

The storm surge is going to be bad in Palm Beach. I'm in West Palm and we have barely had a drop of rain, but it's picking up. We are west of I-95 so out of the surge zone but we are buckled down for a crazy night.

Georgia DOT is now implementing westbound contraflow on I-16 between Savannah and Dublin.

That's true but any water is still more favorable (for the hurricane) than land right? And messing up several hundred miles of coastline is a lot worse than if the storm came ashore perpendicular to the coastline and just fricked up one spot.
