I think pretty much every group of people living anywhere in the world now stole the land from some other group at some point back in time. At one point in time there were no Rus in Russia, no Angles in England, no Franks in France, etc. I think even the Japanese took over parts of the islands from the Ainu.
It's just the way of the world. If you watch nature documentaries, other groups of animals do the same thing. One group of lions or hyenas or meerkats or chimps will "steal" another's territory if they can.

Nearly all land in the world was taken from someone else at some point, generally through violence. The US is not unique in this regard.
