Democrats don't want it to seem like Trump is the one helping people.

Remember this is about the American People!! I don’t walk around asking people who you voted for and who you will vote for!! It’s about getting people back to work and people getting new jobs Baw

Limits are $75k for individuals and $150k for a couple.

Both seem to be fine on that. Sticking point is limits on stuff for corporations that get $.

House has some bill that’s asinine and not even worth the paper it’s printed on to wipe your arse.

AGI correct?

Republicans want a $500,000,000,000.00 slush fund for ceos, and such, with very little oversight.

I just saw a breakdown of a pelosi counter proposal here axios.com shared through Facebook several things listed. Also saw someone say that Democrats are throwing in something about making U.S. have a digital dollar but not sure what that's about because of my lack of digital currency knowledge.

quote:

Increases the amount of money being offered to individuals to $1,500, and up to $7,500 for a family of five. The same GOP income thresholds in the GOP bill would apply — $75,000 for individuals and $150,000 for couples, but the benefit would be available to anyone with an individual taxpayer identification number, retirees and unemployed individuals.

It’s almost like it’s a given sentence to repeat over and over. Can you go into any detail?

They should pay this out over time, or IMO, offer it as food credits or credits to your house payment/ rent.
Straight cash to people will get blown on lottery tickets and beer.
But, hell, the government knows it will get that money right back if that's the case.
