They didn’t have a reason to want to be annexed into BR before now. SG gave them a reason.
no, the "they" is ebr and you KNOW they have been shady throughout this whole process. It's ridiculous to defend ebr in this situation. If tbr is for it, that tells you everything you need to know - steal whitey's money

The result is the city of St. George is shrinking even before it is born
irrelevant. Ebr started this mess and stg residents have merely exercised their rights. I have no doubt the shady PEEPLES of ebr will continue to undermine the effort like annexing businesses they never cared about before because, well, whitey's money is at stake

Do they have the option of just choosing to just be annexed out of St. George?

And I fully support those businesses right to do so whereas some SG believers on here seem to be considering any business preferring to be in BR rather than SG as making attacks on their family. Very emotional reactions.

As do I and I have stated as much.

Now I hope you are just as vocal if SG opponents try and stall, sue or prevent SG from moving forward. You’d be good to have as an ally.

Yet you don't see the reactions from the opposition as being "emotional"? Interesting...

Baton Rouge is a shithole and St. George is what's needed to force them to come down to Earth and make hard choices for their future. Whitey isn't going to pay their bills anymore.

Neighborhoods in st George that borders EBR and seemed out help in annexing back into EBR. I predict when all said st George is only 1/4 the size it was at time of the vote. People didn’t vote but they want nothing to do with st George so they are looking for permanent options instead of worrying about having to vote every other year

Mr.2Tone

I followed the link you provided about the SE school district, I read the legal description of the school district; however, it didn’t coincide with the map you provided of the school district.

What am I missing?

Nah. I see what's there. The "they had their chance to be annexed into Baton Rouge" posts are numerous and often. Like I said, very emotional.
