Maybe the craziest part of the Fleetwood Mac story and eventual demise is that while Lindsey/Stevie and John/Christine were going through their respective tumultuous, drug-fueled relationship collapses Mick, who was the acting band manager, was busy running their accounts into the ground/robbing them blind/just being a terrible money manager. They eventually fired him from that role, but because he was a founding member of the band and he meant so much to what they did they let him stay. He just wasn't allowed to manage anything ever again.

I remember a quote about her something along the line of “what would it be like to be the one straight man in Los Angeles she hadn’t fricked.”
That said, I don’t find her attractive. I have an older coworker who is obsessed with her and I just don’t see it

Good Lord lol. This band was nothing but chaos. And that's why it worked so well.

He offered her his world, but she wouldn't take it from him.

Christine McVie was a far better singer.
Nicks always looked coked up - about to fall down. And she sounded like a kid with a headcold from her cocaine use. Was not a fan.

She always looked like she had a moustache to me.

Fleetwood Mac is possibly the most underrated “soft-rock” band of all time. I wouldn’t call them soft-rock but that’s what they’re associate with most often. The band has only had 2 consistent members throughout its long history.
Peter Green was Eric Clapton’s replacement in the Bluesbreakers and many at the time believed his skill was superior. He started Fleetwood Mac with Mick and John releasing one of their best songs “Oh Well.” On a tour in Europe, he was kidnapped by hippie women and given LSD that permanently fricked him up and he had to leave the band.
Danny Kirwan, his natural replacement as lead guitarist, also went crazy and had to leave the band, not before releasing “Albatross,” another great song.
Christine Perfect joins the band bringing consistent, poppy songs to what was a blues/rock band.
Jeremy Spencer joins, tours, then leaves in the middle of a tour to join the Children of God cult.
Oh yea, the record company gets so pissed they hire a replacement band, call them Fleetwood Mac and put them out on tour.
Bob Welch is recruited, he plays a mean guitar, but just doesn’t fit the feel of the band. (Welch is the person who introduces Steven Adler of Guns n Roses to crack cocaine)
Fleetwood, McVie, and McVie were by themselves and were going to call it quits when Mick hears Buckingham and Nicks working on their second album in the recording studio and the rest is history.
Very excited that Apple TV is doing a multi-part documentary on the band. They are absolutely fascinating.

The first time I heard this song was on a Saturday morning after my HS football game. The team always had to meet the next day to watch film from the night before. This particular morning it was cloudy and cool. My mother let me take her car. I pulled up in the parking lot just as Rhiannon came on FM102. I remember just sitting there listening.

If you're a Fleetwood Mac fan, check out the tribute band "Rumors" if they ever play in your city.
I wasn't ever a big Fleetwood Mac fan, but got roped into going to a Rumors show and I was blown away. They sound like studio quality Fleetwood Mac. The chick really channels some serious Stevie Nicks vibes.

Saw her in concert in 2022 and she sounded fantastic. She did a great tribute to Tom Petty.

I have had so many impure thoughts about Stevie Nicks I would owe her alimony if she weren't worth a helluva lot more than me....

This the best Stevie looked in a video, and she isn't even on the track.

At one point Stevie had done so much cocaine they told her it was literally dissolving her vocal cords.
So she had an assistant blow cocaine up her butthole.
