Statewide shutdown predictions

Let me preface this by stating that I think a statewide shutdown would be stupid and unnecessary.
But...looking at this chart when does JBE start freaking out and make the decision to shut down everything. With more testing come more confirmed cases which doesn’t necessarily look good. Truthfully I think if someone doesn’t feel absolutely terrible there’s no point in even getting tested other than for age and other medical issues.
I give it by the end of the month.

What’s the number of tests administered by day break down and number of negative tests numbers?
Why are those never reported or shown anywhere?

I'm sure it's coming but realistically does it matter? We've all been exposed at this point so who cares. It isn't like we just had a festival were millions hung out every day and shared drinks with one another.

That may be the most misleading graph I’ve ever seen.
The verticle axis is 6X the length of the horizontal axis.

I have no sauces but I think we'll shut down everything but hospitals, grocery stores, pharmacies and law enforcement soon.

Well first you typically don’t look at this kind of graphs linearly.
You do it logarithmically. It’s a bitter sweet view though. It looks less scary, but you don’t see the spike for more testing.
My bet is it going into effect on midnight Thursday of this coming week.
EDIT: To clairify, I mean shut down all restaurants, casinos, bars, etc.
Not all business/refineries.

1. Even if you get this, there’s no vaccine, medicine, or anything they can do for you except the rare few who need a ventilator and end up in ICU. You stay home in isolation, rest, drink fluids, and take Tylenol until you feel better and aren’t contagious. 2. In LA, 20 people have died and the few who did die under 70 all had other health issues. 3. Most places are already closed-schools, inside dining, gyms, salons, court, dmv, a lot of businesses, etc. 4. Grocery stores, to go food, pharmacies, important places aren’t closing 6. There’s no reason to freak out about anything.

Louisiana numbers
Doesn’t show the numbers by day but does show how many have been completed.
Tests completed by state:1294
Tests reported to state by commercial labs: 2008

No shite huh. That’s probably why I said that in the OP. And yea the graph makes it look worse than it is. The problem is the media and how big of a deal they are making it

“rare few” is not accurate. The problem with this virus is the number of people needing the hospital and ICU.
