This is an amazing accomplishment. Within 5 flights, they have now hit all of their intended targets. Nothing here looks like it is was off plan which should indicate that there would be zero FAA anomalies, so no investigation. The only problem SpaceX has now is not enough boosters and ships with the updated versions to actually start flying and testing those.

That would assume truth in branding exists.

Watching the replays and still getting as excited as the first time... Absolutely incredible.

Crazy what private enterprise can accomplish as opposed to bureaucracy

As of '21, Elon said the dry mass of a SHB was between 350,000 and 440,000 pounds. An empty 747 is right in that range.

Yeah the amount of time and brain power that has gone into the SpaceX, from the beginning to what we witnessed today would be insane if there were a way to quantify it and lay it out for all to see.

Rewatching the Booster Landing burn from IF4 and IF5 it seems the similar raised spine suffer from over pressure it looks like which bled into the undercarriage. I'll be looking forward to the official write up on what actually happened.

Once they fix that its perfect. To be fair its already fricking amazing. Im just still in shock.

In a hundred years people are gonna worship Elon Musk as if he was a religious figure for the things he’s done

Just absurdly incredible

Actually for one of the professional rocket guys in here this seems like actual design and not over pressure?

they should have just talked to the NASA engineers from the 60s who landed and took off from the moon 6 flawless tunes with zero test runs.

The most amazing, and probably most underrated, thing that Elon has done is get the country's and world's brightest to work together towards common goals in an era where we too often cater everything to the lowest common denominator undermining rhe whole effort. He believes in greatness, individual and collective. There is nothing wrong with that, even though it is vilified more and more these days.
