Nah. I gonna stereotype here, but he's Asian. He'll be all business. When he's not taking every case available, he'll be studying and doing research. Those mf'ers are like terminators. I had both extremes in my class. Mostly they were hardcore. Had one Chinese classmate that did not GAF. He was repeating med school after failing his boards prior to joining our class. He was no genius and did just enough to get by.
I'd bet that Asian Tiger Woods look alike in the big glasses is bad arse.

I did a little more deep diving. Their full (categorical) match class is even more skewed when you consider it’s only 7 spots. Maybe they’re all super qualified. One would certainly hope so, but
The last 6 females listed on the initial photo are Stanford surgery prelims. They actually matched into mixture of plastic surgery and vascular surgery (very competitive).

The real problem is most of these folks like the idea of being a cut-man but st the end the day don’t want to do tedious work or problem solving. They no doubt love being rote and multiple choice automatons.
Good thing our grandpas invented half the modern medical tools that make most of the work pretty damn easy.

My son has a 511 MCAT and a 3.88 GPA from a Jesuit college and he can’t get into to medical school. He also happens to be black. I keep reading about affirmative action and minorities taking over but I can assure you that neither of my kids are getting any deals for being black.
