Any ideas on what is going on at 12:15 am. It’s a parking lot and no info on Waze on what it is.

I still remember when Alabama and the Feds were smart enough to build I 459 southwest to northeast around Birmingham. 6 lanes and there was nothing on either side of the highway for 28 miles. Now of course it is suburbia, but nice and traffic does not go through B’ham on the way to ATL or Chattanooga. Louisiana is the worst state in the union regarding highway improvements.

A man is on the side of the road with his hood up. People are coming to a complete halt to see what it is.

It has cleared up now. For those who liked it, may I suggest that they go between BR and Lafayette so you can experience the daily 18 wheeler wreck?

May the Lord have mercy on your soul. How dare you make comments on the traffic or schools in Louisiana. Be prepared for at least we aren't TX constantly building additional lanes and under construction.

So....What 1-12 was originally? You know, so you didn't have to go through NO?

Driving between NOLA and Lafayette, I started taking Hwy 90 a few years ago. No Baton Rouge traffic, no bridge traffic. And Hwy 90 is nearly interstate quality, and nearly vacant.

Shreveport’s problem is that it’s located in Shreveport.
