I contracted a full body, blood borne MRSA staph infection while hospitalized in February.
It damn nearly killed me. I didn't want to go back to the hospital since I'd just been released, but my doctors told me that if I had gone to bed like I wanted to, I'd have never woken up.
I ended up in ICU and had to have dialysis. I was in the hospital and rehab center for almost a month. I got home March 20

Go to walgreens/cvs and get ichthammol ointment. It will draw it to a huge head and ooze out. I had a severe staph infection on my inner thigh and the ointment prevented me from getting
the infection lanced and packed. The Globe brand is the strongest and is 8.99 on Amazon. In lafayette you can get it at drug emporium

your odds of getting Staph is approximately 85 times higher than getting COVID/Bat Flu ... but shhhhhhhhh....don't tell the media that fact.

Had staph/MRSA back in 2012 on my forehead from what the doctor called an infected hair follicle (I thought it was just a pimple)
Woke up one morning and couldn’t see out of my right eye. Long story short it got into my blood stream and went to my eye causing a big scar on my retina...still have blurry central vision in that eye to this day and constant floaters (which is incredibly annoying
)

I got a staph infection after a back surgery and it almost killed me. 18 days in the hospital fighting it off with iv antibiotics. shite ain't no joke bro.

Had it inside my nose, on the top of my head twice, and twice on my hand. The staph in my hand the first time was the worst. Went to the er with pain and swelling on my middle finger/hand, 4 hours later the hand surgeon is explaining how he is going to butcher my strong hand. 10 stitches later in a Z formation down the palm side of my middle finger. Don’t play with staph

Most people with a staph infection self diagnose themselves with what they believe is a spider bite and think it will go away.That's when it gets worse and can get into the bloodstream and kill. It's nothing to play around with! If you get a red swollen area and it progresses and gets a little black spot in the middle get to a doctor ASAP. I know because I was stupid once. I got one that got the size of a golf ball. I lanced it myself with a sterile scalpel and cleaned it out. I went to the doctor a couple of days later(It doesn't help that I wasn't able to get an appointment right away. I Dr. took one look at it, got grossed out and ordered me to get to the Emergency Room. I get there and when the Dr. saw it he was like "who lanced this thing?" I told him I did and he was shocked and said at least I did it right. They cleaned it again and there really wasn't much left in it. Got put on antibiotics and I learned my lesson. It really was pretty gross!

Had it on my knee once. It’s worse when it’s by a joint. Some of the worst pain I’ve ever had and it left a pretty big scar. Only good thing that came out of it was the medication they prescribed
