What an incredibly ridiculous statement. Statistics probably show that few voted at all. The turnout in the last election was around 12 percent I believe. I guess it's easier to just make assumptions about people, though, and even if they did vote for President Obama, unless you've spoken to them and conducted exit polls, you don't know why they voted for him. A much more plausible reason is that black people tend to vote for democrats.
When it's well documented they had record turnouts. Take it to the poli

It was leaked late in the evening that the police have about 12 witnesses who largely corroborate the police's statement. Ruh Roh... This was mentioned a few days back. That the DA had witnesses corroborating the officers story, but the DA told them not to speak to anyone, because it would lead to trouble.
once again, the twelve witnesses were from last night that the crowd shot first.

Schwag, I was disagreeing with reedus who said all this chaos could have been avoided had the police put out their version of the story right away...
Gotcha

Once again, you need to learn how to fricking quote people right.... Don't respond to me and quote the quote I was referencing as if I said it.

what the locals ran with.
That's the key. Yes, the locals. It would have been much more localized, not nationalized and people coming in from all over the country. I really don't think media would have covered it like they did if that was the story put out right away. It would have made local news for a day or 2 and it would have died out without reaching out nationally.

What in the hell are you talking about. NO just no. It is more than 12 witnesses with testimony that matches the testimony of officer Wilson.

but from what evidince has been presented so far it would take a person/persons with an "agenda" to justify charging Wilson.

I'm glad the cops kept their mouth shut a few days to verify witness testimony. If some fools don't want the truth and want to burn the town down until then that's their problem. I know the large majority of the ones doing harm are from out of town, but if the locals would have waited for the police to do what it needed to, no one would have known about this.

When has the MSM cared about truth in reporting?

This is the tweet

Police sources tell me more than a dozen witnesses have corroborated cop's version of events in shooting #Ferguson
I don't see how you can assume that is anything other than the shooting of Brown.

Oh so he thinks the cops ran an investigation last night while all this crap was going down?

You take it to the poly board. There were NOT record turnouts in the last election. I never said the last presidential election; I said the last election. The turnout was around 12 percent. It's asinine to assume that a group of people who disenfranchise themselves automatically "voted for Obama because he is black" when they rarely vote AT ALL.

Its second hand info, but matches a report earlier in the week that the DA has witnesses he was keeping quiet because they had corroborated the cops account.

What last election are you referring to?
ETA: And why would you not talk about the presidential election when talking about people voting for Obama?

Btw, the comments to her tweet are so
You can prob guess them without even reading them...
"Well the cops had a week to coach these statements"
"Put them on the stand, so we know they aren't made up"
Etc...

Where are we on this thread? Are we close to breaking the all time record of views and posts?

Yeah I saw it last night on here. I just didnt post much since I was on my phone. I was confused what the hell he was getting at saying it was about a shooting last night. I dont see how anyone could think they got a statement from a cop last night during that mess and collaborated 12 witness last night all by 930 when it came out.

I have no doubt, if this is allowed to go on through this whole ordeal, that it will easily be the longest.
We haven't even gotten to whether there will actually be charges and the fallout from that.
If there is a trial, there will def need to be a separate thread.

It's not every day that a unarmed black teen is shot dead in broad daylight in middle of street by a white cop... This was making national news because the locals were going to make sure it made national news.
