What is the unemployment rate in this town?

In Ferguson, probably 25%+.
In the rest of St. Louis metro, around 7%.

Anyone that's lived here knows it truly is a tale of two cities. Whites fled downtown and north county in the 80's and 90's.

RELIABLE TIP FROM DRUG UNIT: MULTIPLE BLACK MALES HAVE STOLEN WHITE PICK UP TRUCK TO SHOOT UP LOCAL BUSINESS AT CANFIELD/W FLORISSANT WITH ASSAULT RIFLES
If that tip is as reliable as their tips normally are, it is a bunch of Asians who are driving a legally owned red Honda, and one of them said something about playing Call of Duty.

I had family in Saint Louis, what an awful American city with few redeeming qualities.

Heard the NAACP was talking down to the Ferguson community. Calling them uneducated looters. If that's true, they are truly out of touch.

This is the opinion when they hear the truth.

Wrong.

It's not clean like Minneapolis or cosmopolitan like San Francisco, but it does have its nice parts and things to do (for free). We love our sports as well, so that's a plus.

There are some terrible things though, like car break-ins, violence, and corporations fleeing.

Overall I'd say it's a mixed bag like most places in the US.

I've just never been impressed. Cunnettos (sp?) is great. I think their downtown is a laugher, one of the absolute worst.

I think they're saying the driver of the white truck was either shot or is having a seizure, then they called EMS down W Florissant to deal with it. KSDK lady is about to call it I think. EMS called to W Florissant and Canfield. Looks like a residential street.

Probably afraid to say he was outright shot by cops due to what would happen.

Cunetto's is outstanding. My favorite Italian in STL. Downtown is laughable. I agree.
