re: Dryer not starting. Any ideas?

Once I swapped out the thermal fuse, it started right up.
Ah, for some reason I was thinking thermal cutoff instead of fuse. Different part altogether.
I fixed my dryer a few weeks ago—thought at first it was the cutoff but it turned out to be the heat cycle thermostat. That switch never opened when the heat threshold was reached, so the heater element stayed on until it tripped the thermal cutoff.

Dryers are pretty easy to work on if you've got the basic troubleshooting skills. Based on the limited information here my wild guess would be the timer is bad. If it was a problem with the thermal fuse like someone suggested, the dryer would still spin and the blower would operate, but the heater element would not come on.

How do ambulances change the lights. At newer signals in Baton Rouge they'll all change to red for how ever long as the ambulance is driving through and then re-cycle after it passes.

must be no ports open on your local POP. I'm guessing that between the last time you called ATT and when your new neighbor set up their service, someone else must have moved out or canceled their service.
