You need to calm down. You're generalizing an entire city based on the actions of a few (a relative term here). It's not like every person was out breaking windows and stealing shite.

Obviously not, but the fricks that want to blindly say the kid deserved it and blindly back police actions at any cost are just as bad.
I'm not backing the police, but none of this, or any actions by the police, warrant looting and rioting.
They are just using this entire thing to justify them stealing and destroying anything they can get their hands on.
I, for one, don't believe for one second that they are stealing all this stuff from businesses just because they feel bad for the kid that got shot.
They just use that excuse to do what they want, how they want.
Savages.

Yup, just heard that.... The DOJ knew it would cause issues at this time, but the frickup of a Police Chief decided to anyway.
Again, this guy needs to be terminated immediately.

The police suck too, I am no fan of police in general. However, the violence, looting, and stealing lay squarely at the feet of those who committed the crimes. Period

That piece of shite is instigating the issue.
Not just knew it would instigate, DOJ and Ferguson specifically discussed it and DOJ had thought they had convinced Ferguson not to release it yet. Then the chief, because he's butthurt, releases it against not only advise but after DOJ telling him not to. He clearly did it with full knowledge it would incite so there can only be one reason he did it. I would say he needs to be charged with "Failure to obey a lawful order" but he HAS TO BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE IMMEDIATELY.

You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

There are great people with potential who love in ferguson, but the attitude of calm down keeps those good people under the boot of the thugs that run the streets. Once we all get mad enough then maybe something will change

At least he's consistent.

I agree, they should have released the video of the robbery the day of the incident, well before they released the name of the officer.

You got a mouse in your pocket?
You getting angry at an entire community is fruitless. You're wasting energy. It's more likely to have a negative effect... Saying things like purge the city from within.

Yup, but then it would have been the opposite way.. "Why are you releasing this video, but not the officers name"
IMO, the video should have been held until the investigation was complete and put it out at the same time as the findings.

Then the officer's name should have been withheld too. They can't have it both ways. Either they release both or none, its only fair.

The officers name isn't necessarily part of the investigation though. It's not protected and subject to FOIA. The video was.
