The UN is about as useful as a broken condom.

Sure. But if one of a number of shots is classifiable as the fatal one, I doubt he makes it 35 feet.
Let's say a shot nicks a critical artery/organ/whatever. Coroner supposedly knows that this injury would probably cause death of 250# male within x seconds. That bullet path can be traced to entry point, and therefore, close range v. distant shot. They may also factor in body position of Brown, likely backing away from car, turning, etc.
They can get a decent, forensically informed opinion of what transpired. That was the point I was trying to make. Simply looking at the location of the body relative to the car is a very small data point of the investigation.

FBI say anything about the investigation yet?

That assumes all the other shots were able to be ruled out.

I laughed. And I still feel comfortable with what I said.

No, Geaux has fallen down on getting Darren info for us.

Just watched the protest go down carondelet, pretty much just a bunch of white girls trying to be "cool"
I think the cops are being morons in this situation but white people walking in the warehouse district of New Orleans with smoke bombs isn't solving anything

Thought this was interesting regarding the militarization aspect of the local PD.

A few people have pointed it out, but our ROE regarding who we could point weapons at in Afghanistan was more restrictive than cops in MO.

Agreed. But that has nothing to do with "35'." That's all I was saying.
I hope we/they figure out what really happened, regardless of whose "side" is impeached.
Edited to delete redundant "regardless".

I suspected this.

I do, too. I suspect we won't. Life doesn't usually lay itself into a CSI plot line.

Sounds like a good thing County cops were removed. Per one I know who worked in Ferguson last night, he said that if one of the police had been shot or seriously hurt, there would have been an all out war. He described the protesters as "animals." The worst he'd ever seen.
He explain why they were sighting people down and hitting them with laser sights all day?
The cops were trying to get the crowd riled up.
