Whites are no longer the majority in EBR.
If the next chief is as bad as MP, we may end up having a demographic change through attrition.
Lotta black on black murders in NBR.

If the matter loses and the election overturned, unfortunately a good chunk of people are going to vote with their feet and not stick around to watch the show.
I’m about ready to leave now simply because of how far things have dropped under SWB. And it doesn’t look to get any better if the likes of Chauna Banks are next in line.

I am delighted with the favorable rulings from both the trial court and the court of appeal. The appellate court's fair and accurate ruling is a testament to the strength of our legal arguments and the unity of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish.
This outcome reaffirms our belief in the power of unity and collaboration. It is a reminder that when we come together as one community, we can overcome challenges and achieve great things. With this court ruling, we can now shift our focus back to fostering growth, progress, and a brighter future for all residents of East Baton Rouge.
I extend my appreciation to the community for their support throughout this legal journey. Together, we have demonstrated resilience and a commitment to preserving our harmony.
Moving forward, my administration remains dedicated to addressing the needs of our community, promoting inclusivity, and pursuing opportunities that will benefit all residents. Let us embrace this moment of triumph and continue working together to build a stronger, more united Baton Rouge.

So they kept just enough of them in, knowing that the solid green areas would be just enough
Seems pretty risky

I bought land out near the north shore when rates were low, as a plan B.

Balls on this bitch considering she was the one who told people to form their own city to get the school district they wanted

This can't be correct, we were assured that with all of the donations and legwork incorporation was guaranteed!
Why are people against this?

Strange how places that voted for biden are going to the shitter.

What a joke. The citizens want this and jumped through all the legal hoops to validate their desire to incorporate.
Yeah, but frankly even if it was legally airtight it still wouldn't have passed. St. George will not be allowed to exist.

I know you are right but it seems like there should be no way they can stop it.

Broome's statement.
People need to stop being dumbasses and vote with their feet.

I’d say what is really on my mind right now but I’ve already had one trip to ban land.

We didnt allow citizens to decide for themselves through a vote on what they wanted to do, we strong armed them and ignored what they lawfully voted for, we are going to take their tax money and waste it and steal it, and theres nothing you jackoffs can do about it because yea you know why.
What lovely mayors the two biggest cities in LA have

There’s really not that many apartment complexes in those areas. Oak Hills mostly voted against & they have 1 maybe 2.

Would love if some of the ill effects of what Baton Rouge has become under Broome would hit really close to home for her. Just a nice robbery or something

That was Kip. If everyone in those “green areas” would have gotten off their asses and voted during the initial election we would not have this problem today or the nightmare that is SWB. The godfather of the St George movement, Bodi White, was ready to become Mayor-President of EBR, but with less than 50% voter turnout in most of these areas he fell short.

No it was then Senator Broome that told them to form a city before a school district.
