The fact that the only argument that can be brought up is putting us in their environment (jungles, ocean, etc.) with no weapons or anything, as if we're literally in a worst case scenario, should be enough to settle it.
No one seems to be interested in putting them in our environment.
Oh wait...they already are. They're called zoos. And almost every one of those APEX predators live in them all over the world.

Orcas will kill any shark they can find, plus I think both a Great White and Tiger Shark can take it down as well. Dolphins also kill Bull Sharks to protect their calves. It's not necessarily their resiliency, or else the polar bear wouldn't make the list.

Grizzlies aren't the master of their own domain. Wolves regularly kill them. Only animal that is regularly capable of killing wolves in its range is a tiger, and they rarely come across each other.
