I think it is interesting. When you think about how the fact we live on this planet that is nothing more than a speck in the universe, there is the curiosity of what else is out there and whether or not we are a part of something bigger or irrelevant, it terms of our existence in the universe.

I didn't say that. I personally am torn about it. I can see both sides of the argument, hence my not giving a shite one way or the other.

How do you know this? I mean, it might be true, but we don't know for sure. If we exist, when you consider what is beyond what we don't know yet, then why is it not possible for other types of existence?

Not really. Would be cool, but I'm more interested in us exploring more of space than us finding other life.

Life not as advanced as ours yet? Life developed under even less likely conditions making space travel prohibitively dangerous? They just don't care like the OP about them?
