Gorman Bros. On Airline in Prairieville is where I bought mine.

Uh, Amazon does, according to that link.

Purchased mine form the Maytag dealer in Lafayette a few years ago. Amazon has a few models.

Bought one 4/7/2017 completely from board recommendations.
MF'er is built like a tank, is quiet and has manual controls. Some see it as minus, but no buzz at the completion of cleaning is such a plus in my book.
Thanks, Napoleon, et al!
Went to New Iberia to get it, it was cheaper there than Amite at the time, and it was Ghost day at Parish!
Took the in-laws and bought 4 of everything!

Amazon is a physical place?
Yes you can order them. No where in nola can you put hands on one.

Yes, technically.
It's not in New Orleans though.

I have a washer I bought ten years ago.
It should easily last another ten or more.

Stopped at a cane's ran into a guy from Lafayette. Here just to fix a speed queen.
We had lunch.
Rare to see their factory people. He showed me the article.
First time I've heard of one needing a repair under warranty. Lol
Meanwhile I just condemned a five year old maytag.

Speed queen is the only brand the Navy uses in laundry rooms.

You can make this happen with any washer/dryer by simply removing power from the buzzer, but I definitely agree. Buzzing at the end is annoying.

Or you can just go on Craigslist and buy a late 80s Maytag set for $100 that will also last you another 40 years and built just as well.
Hey it's your money....

I meant as a residential machine.
Probably the least common brand. There are more Fisher Paykel washers and dryers than Speed Queen locally.
Also I get they do commercial, I think here Pellerin/Milnor is more known. (possibly even better brand, made in Kenna Bra)

Newer machines built the buzzer into the control board.

Napoleon list your top 5 favorite machines and vintage. I think everyone would benefit from that
