Yeah that's really odd. A lot of people can be identified by their voices, but if you're going the straight blackmail route you'd probably be inclined to get some hidden video first, right?
Why just the audio? Or were these maybe just the audio taken from videos she's recorded? OP's "friend" needs to keep 100% quiet on this and act like nothing is wrong, DEFINITELY don't randomly cut her off from sex for "no reason" that she's aware of.
Dude needs to secretly scour everything of hers that he can for any more evidence, especially videos, and take it all to a lawyer ASAP. Audio might be enough to shut her out of getting anything in the divorce, but I wouldn't take my chances if I could potentially find even better evidence

Yep, I 've been here before. And on top of it my ex(no pics) tried to make me out as the bad guy in the relationship.

After getting with the lawyer I would go as long as possible making her life completely miserable, then when she is almost at rock bottom give the papers.

One is only 14 I think. Just not good for his sanity to wait that long. He may not make it a week as it is.
