Correct. Can you speak the language of ants ( vastly inferior beings)?

I had an employee who "spoke in tongues". He could do it on demand. I'd point to him and he'd "ablah dablah dooblah" like a pro.

Then I'd ask him to translate what he'd said...

"Oh I don't understand the tongues, that's a different gift. I just have the gift of speaking in tongues."

Sounds like a guy I knew. We called him stupid Thomas.

babies are gifted with the ability to speak in tongues, or rather every language known to exist on Earth. It's a gift from God carried over from Heaven, to conception, to birth. For the first several months God speaks to babies and vice versa.

Think of it this way: If humans create true artificial intelligence and then bestow simulation characters with AI, humans will have created a legitimate new life form and we'd be that life form's all powerful God.

Now, if over time AI within the simulation created a new language unique to the AI's experience, humans may not understand or simply may not care about the AI's language because that language would be inconsequential to the advanced nature of humans. Perhaps we just like watching the simulation or playing the simulation as a game. Nothing more, nothing less.

However, if one of those AI simulation characters meditated on and tapped into the ancient language of simulation code, that AI could potentially speak directly with its God - humans.

However, other AI would look at the enlightened AI as "crazy" or "inauthentic" because it's easier to ridicule what you cannot understand rather than have faith.

even in your hypo, it's still nonsensical because humans are not all powerful

God is

Humans absolutely would be all powerful to the simulation characters which humans (not God) created.

The real question is: The moment humans create true AI and by definition a new intelligent life form, considering AI would not be of God...is that life form of Satan?

I get the weirdest vibe when the priest says something and everyone mumbles a memorized phrase. It feels cult-ish. I just smile to myself . But hey if that's your thing then go for it.

It is a traditional, respectful way to participate in the ceremony.

I like it better than Sally-Beth flopping around screaming gibberish, or Rufus hollering Hallelujah randomly in my ear.

healing lines are real but only benefit the individual who is a person of true faith.

Unfortunately most of us will never have true faith.

speaking in tongues is 100 percent legitimate.

This is how it works:

The Holy Spirit enters your body at a time when your senses are heightened by the glory of God. At that point you are possessed, not by a demon, but by the glory of God. Your body strengthens, your muscles flex, your eyes roll back in your head, and then the Holy Spirit speaks through you in a language only you and the Holy Spirit can understand.

It's a legitimate private conversation with God. And the Bible supports it.

My sister in law goes to one of these mega churches in West Monroe. She claims speaking in tongues is real.

We had a get together and everyone wanted to go to church so they know Im not religious, but they asked if I would go and I said I would.

(Most of my wifes' family is baptist and we were married in a baptist church. I was raised Catholic but the Baptist wedding taking all of 15 minutes was fine by me.)

Anyway we go to church, and its this huge place packed with people and right away I knew this was one of those tele-evangelists and sure enough when it came time to pass the collection plates the minister went on a rant that the more you give the more you recieve and that they needed the money to build an even bigger church. Mind you this place was huge. They needed 1.? million and they were getting closer every week.

Well there was no tongues spoken but on the ride home my sister in law said normally they speak in tongues. I politely told her if they had done that while I was there I was taking the kids and walking out of there. Thats the biggest crock of shite there is. She disagreed and told me she spoke in tongues and I told her, the next time we go back I will go on stage and let the Holy Spirt enter me so that I could find out for myself.

Her reply was I dont believe so it wont happen to me. That answered it for me.

Yes, absolutely. They heard the Word in their native tongue.

He had followers from all walks and languages and it's also possible it's a parable meant that the word of God can and should be translated and understood by all languages.

Yes, of course.
